Going on a little trip...

We leave tomorrow for Virginia to meet the extended family. We are hoping Marc likes his first of many plane rides! Abby has been telling everyone that she are her brother are going to fly tomorrow. We are all excited. Marc is excited... he just doesn't know it! :0)

His cousin, Gabe, who is just a month older than Marc, is very excited to have a new play mate.

There will be lots of fun in the baby pool for sure.

Backyard Bubbles on a Thursday Afternoon!

Bubbles, backyard, simply fun! After playing in a tiny pool for a while, we broke out the bubbles and enjoyed a mild Georgia afternoon. Luckily, the bugs were away so we could play!

Bath Time

Whether it is water in a puddle, in a pool, or in a tub... Marc loves the water. Bath time is one of his favorite times of the day.

Bubbles are too cool too. You can grab them, blow them around and eat them. We are working on the later one.

Abby likes to play like she is Santa. Marc is now the elf with a bubble elf hat on top of his head. Dusty stands on the sidelines, trying to figure out how he can sneak in the tub and play too!

Playing in the Pool


This little guy is a water boy for sure! He is loving going to the pool and is already learning to hold his breath. I am thinking we may give him lessons in July.



He also loves to watch Abby jump in... he thinks it is funny she disappears under the water!
His new trick is to hold his breath a fall forward into the water from the top step! Very brave little man! He also likes to snuggle in the big beach towel. We are very blessed to have a pool right here in the neighborhood and we are using that blessing!

Lovin the Lake

We went to the lakehouse on Monday and spent some time on the boat and in the water. Marc is an immediate fan and is fitting right in with this water loving family.

My brother and his girlfriend were here for a few days and they just ate him up. Abby had a good time showing Marc how to jump in the lake and swim. Even though he LOVES the pool, he wasn't crazy about being in the lake water... we are pretty sure it was the life vest he wasn't diggin. So he spent time with me on deck watching the action.

We fall more and more in love with this little guy every day. We continue to give our Lord all the praise for how very well he is doing.

My Two Precious Gifts from the Lord God of Heaven

How do you even give thanks to such an awesome God who trusts you with such gifts?

I am humbled and in awe of such a Father, a Redeemer, a Creator, a Friend.

"Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being." Psalm 146: 1,2~

Marc has joined our family and we are forever thankful and we will forever praise His name.
